Duties & Responsibilities

This department is responsible for the procurement of high quality goods and services for the Town of Red Hook at the best possible prices through the open market, New York State contracts, Dutchess County contracts, the public bid process, requests for proposals, and requests for quotations.

Inherent to accomplish this mission requires close personal interfacing with the Town Departments and Suppliers. This also entails writing procedures and educating the departments and committees of various Town and State municipal law requirements pertaining to Purchasing.

Staff

Our Director of Purchasing, Ted Kudzy, is hired by the Town Board.
