Conservation Advisory Council

Recognizing that "Establishment of a Conservation Advisory Council is a necessary step in fostering unified action on environmental problems," the Town Board of the Town of Red Hook, created the Red Hook Town Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) in 1976.

Monthly Meetings held on 2nd Wednesday, 7:00pm, Town Hall.

For the 26th consecutive year, the Red Hook VFW Post 7765 has sponsored two middle school students to attend a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Environmental Education Summer Camp. This year's scholarship recipients are 6th graders Hudson Miller and Kyle McCluskey.

2012 DEC Summer Camp Scholarship Winners


Commander Moore of VFW Post 7765 presents the NYSDEC Summer Camp scholarships to 6th graders Kyle McCluskey and Hudson Miller. This is the 26th year that the VFW has sponsored scholarships for Red Hook Middle School students to attend the week long sleep away camp.
