Rokeby Water District Maintenance Announcement

For those residents within the Rokeby Water District please see the notice from Dutchess County.

I am writing to inform you of a system wide shut down at the above referenced public water supply. Pipes in the treatment building which lead from the wells to the pressure tank have become too restricting of the flow and must be replaced. In order to replace said pipes, pressure in the system may be lost. The work is scheduled to be conducted March 27, 2018 at 11PM. A boil water notice will be in effect due to the loss of system pressure. The repair is expected to take 4 hours. The boil water notice will be lifted following satisfactory bacteriological sample testing. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Respectfully yours,

Ron Ronald D. Miller, P.E. Senior Public Health Engineer
